Who am I?<\/h2>\n

My name is Neva Ciftcioglu Banes. I am an alien! No kidding! I have been living abroad since 1991. So, for at least 25 years I have been living as an alien. When I was working as a scientist at NASA Johnson Space Center (Houston, TX), I was carrying an ID badge like other employees. Everyone else\u2019s badge color was white, but because I was an alien, and it was apparently necessary to mark aliens, mine was green. The most asked question by others was \u201cbe honest\u2026have you seen any aliens at NASA? Do they really exist? Are they really green?\u201d My answer was always \u201cyes there are aliens and they are green!\u201d As you might imagine, my life journey has acquainted me with many different cultures, lifestyles, and ways of thinking. Because of these experiences, my views shifted quite a bit.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\nTherefore I feel like an alien in my own country too. Do I feel at home anywhere? No, not really. Recently, when I watch the world, notice the carelessness of humanity towards the entire planet–including pollution, cruelty towards animals, starving children, plastic relationships–and see the values of other people and strength of ego, I feel like an alien in the entire world. Throughout my time in this physical realm of existence, I have always questioned life and looked at it differently than many others that I have known. But, I never thought that I was actually an alien or anything of that sort. However, in the last couple of years, I began to question life more than ever. When somebody asks who I am, the clich\u00e9 answer basically would contain the name, age, profession, nation, and family. However, I am still looking for myself. \u201cWho am I?\u201d If I ever find a satisfactory answer, I will let you know.<\/p>\n

Why Nevalogy?
\nIf you’re looking for a path to wisdom, the options are plentiful. Should you take a leaf out of Plato or Aristotle, tune into your feelings, or just put your faith in a power greater than yourself? Every one of us has different experiences in life and have formed unique personalities with that (Let\u2019s not forget the genes here…they play quite a big role in shaping you, but as epigenetics teaches us, that is not the end of it). Along these lines, the way we live and look at life forms our very own \u201cology.\u201d This web page conveys my perspective towards science, art, love, and life. I hope this will help start you on your path. In social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, we mostly share someone else\u2019s thoughts and \u201cologies.\u201d Why not create our own \u201cology\u201d page? There are so many people who are going to look down at you for feeling and thinking the way you do, but there are others who will be able to relate to you. Finding others with whom you can relate (from all over the world) will always motivate and encourage every single one of you. We need each other. Nevalogy is my path. I agree with him. However, I am also a strong believer in learning from each other. You may disagree with me. But explain your perspective in detail. Stretching the walls surrounding me will never hurt my ego. I do not want to write pages about my \u201cNevalogy philosophy\u201d here. My daily shares of ideas will define me well for you. You can freely share your opinions and feelings (only if they are in the frame of respect and free of ego too). You can ask questions. I will answer them in Nevalogy range as much as time allows.
